In my personal opinion, expressions in this world can sometimes be more genuine than words. The disdain is not directed towards anyone, but towards some intangible hypocrisy, the power that is lofty yet empty. Like a swindler on the river, there are always eyes that can see through his true face, and that disdain is the most genuine resistance in his heart.
The true philosophy lies in choice. Life is like a play. Acting is instinct, not acting is choice. That disdain is freedom, freedom, but freedom also comes at a cost. True freedom lies in not being burdened by the world, not being trapped by fame and fortune. Only by letting go of that obsession can one truly live out oneself. Otherwise, no matter how great the glory in this world is, it will only be a shackle
